Severin says… Listen.

Parenthetical Girls are good, especially if you like The Smiths and or Grammatics. Their songs are strong and dramatic with emotional vocals, in a style not dissimilar to those of Dent May. New 12″ EP release Privilege, pt. 1: On Death & Endearments out on Slender Means Society includes the track ‘Evelyn McHale’ which is up for free download on their LastFM page along with slightly older track ‘Song For Ellie Greenwich’. Both are really worth downloading and listening to repeatedly.

If you become a fan then they also have a DayTrotter Session and another free download available on RCRD LBL. Other tracks are available to stream via their myspace.
